The Paint Doctor is proud to announce that we have recently graduated from the Georgia Mentor Protégé Program. This exclusive, state sponsored program claims several Fortune 500 companies as supporters and mentors. The program has served to advance the field of entrepreneurship throughout Georgia. In the program, each company is assigned a specific mentor that guides them and encourages them to grow their business. These mentors are experts in the field of business management and can make recommendations to take a business from good to great.

The application process alone is lengthy and selective to ensure that the best candidates are chosen. During the six month application period, there are various interviews to confirm that both sides are clear on expectations and can benefit from the program. Before being accepted to the program, a mentor has to choose your company. We were fortunate to be chosen by JE Dunn as our mentor.

After being accepted, the mentor works with the participant to establish three goals that they want to see your company reach. The goals were established in collaboration with an independent, outside source of how we could make our company better to serve our customers. In addition to help from our assigned mentor, we were also able to attend specialized trainings and listen to speakers who expanded our thoughts on business and helped us take our company to the next level.

The Mentor Protégé Program exists to further the entrepreneurial spirit as well as creating a network of high level companies that can depend on one another.
